Accountant | Up to $4,700 + 1 Month Completion Bonus
1-Year Contract under Recruit Express

Salary: Up to $4,700/month
Completion Bonus: 1 month upon successful completion of the contract
Contract: 1 year, renewable subject to performance
Location: Labrador

Working Hours:
Monday – Friday | Office Hours

Job Scope
• Work closely with other accounting team on monthly, quarterly and year-end closing
• Review Balance Sheet Account Reconciliations and follow up on unreconciled items
• Lead the accounting team on ad-hoc projects
• Analyse financial performance and prepare variance analysis
• Provide accounting and financial support to other departments/business units
• Prepare GST and withholding tax returns, declarations and supporting documentation
• Review and implement financial and internal control process improvements
• Liaise with banks on treasury and banking matters
• Plan and coordinate quarterly and year-end stock takes
• Coordinate year-end fixed asset sighting
• Liaise with internal and external auditors and follow up on audit recommendations
• Assist with year-end tax filing

Requirements
• Minimum 2-3 years of accounting experience
• Hands-on experience with accounting software, preferably Oracle or similar
