6 Months Contract – Wealth Management Operations, Nominees

Our client, a leading financial institution, is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Wealth Management Operations – Nominees professional to join their team on a 6-month contract.

The successful candidate will support the day-to-day operational activities relating to Unit Trust and Bond transactions, ensuring accurate and timely trade processing and settlement. The role will also involve collateral monitoring, trailer fee reconciliation and monthly reporting, while working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle trade processing and settlement activities for Unit Trust and Bond transactions.
• Ensure all trades and transactions are processed and settled accurately and within the required timelines.
• Monitor collateral positions and excess collateral, and follow up with relevant business units on any outstanding matters or discrepancies.
• Perform reconciliation of trailer fees and ensure discrepancies are identified and resolved in a timely manner.
• Prepare and support monthly trailer fee reporting and other operational reports as required.
• Monitor and follow up on outstanding settlement items, exceptions and operational discrepancies.
• Liaise with relevant internal stakeholders to resolve trade and settlement-related issues.
• Ensure all operational activities are performed in accordance with established processes, internal controls and regulatory requirements.
• Perform any other ad hoc duties and tasks as assigned by the manager.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Banking & Finance, Business, Accountancy or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in Wealth Management Operations, Private Banking Operations, Investment Operations, Trade Support or Securities Operations will be an advantage.
• Experience in Unit Trust and Bond trade processing and settlement is preferred.
• Good understanding of securities and investment products, particularly Unit Trusts and Bonds.
• Experience in reconciliation, collateral monitoring and/or fee processing will be an advantage.
• Salary ranges between S$4,500 to S$5,500 per month.
